Burkhard Hess_ Transnational Litigation
The course addresses international civil litigation from a perspective of comparative law. Main issues: jurisdiction, concurrent and parallel litigation, the recognition and enforcement of judgments. Specific attention will be given to practical aspects and landmark decisions of courts in Europe, the United States and in Asia.
